RedOne is a songwriter/producer who’s worked with artists like Lady Gaga, Jennifer Lopez and Nicki Minaj, just to name a few. He has been in the music industry for a number of years, but “Don’t You Need Somebody” is his debut into the music industry as an artist himself, a song that was created and produced with Enrique Iglesias, R. City, Serayah and Shaggy.
RedOne invited a few of his friends to feature in the music video for “Don’t You Need Somebody.”
In the video, you can see Mr Brainwash lip-syncing along with Jennifer Lopez, Cristiano Ronaldo (professional Portuguese football player for Spain’s Real Madrid) and RedOne.
Coca-Cola and (RED) teamed up for the Share the Sound of an AIDS Free Generation campaign, featuring new music from Aloe Blacc, OneRepublic, an unreleased song from Queen’s Freddie Mercury and a collaborative work with Wyclef Jean, Avicii and Mr Brainwash.
The primary goal of the campaign was to spread global awareness of HIV/AIDS to millennials in an effort to end the pandemic. The campaign featured an array of top artists as they debut new music and offered exclusive experiences to bring people together and give. Money raised from the campaign went to the Global Fund to fight AIDS, tuberculosis and malaria. It was also used to finance grants to provide HIV prevention, testing, counseling, treatment and care services.
Mr Brainwash collaborated with another Guetta (David Guetta, that is) and directed the music video for “Metropolis”, a song David Guetta made with fellow producer Nicky Romero which currently boasts over 14 million views on You Tube.
